FILM: The Hour of the Furnaces (1968) Part 1: Neocolonialism and Violence subs...

This film is a historical film about Argentina from an anti-colonial perspective, which includes a critique of the left's position on Peron and how they ended up siding with the oligarchy against his popular government - resonating strongly with much of the so-called "left's" position vis a vis Libya, Syria, Nicaragua and elsewhere in the "South" today.
